Sharing passions - Teaching and Workshops
I have many passions for using my artwork, from fundraising for the Humane Society to colloaborating with Special Need Adults to sharing the amazing love of my Savior. In this section you will see many of those elements which bring JOY to my soul and I hope it touches your heart as well.
The students who worked on this project were from a home schooled group. We learned about the different symbols of the Aboriginals and then used those symbols in decorating the panels to create the face.
These panels represent the Dreaming, the other world of the Aboriginals in Australia. In collaboration with Polly Allen at the Children's Board of Hillsborough County.

Each adult with special needs painted their canvases adding coral and seaweed then added a bible verse and their sea creature on top.
This banner project was so much fun. The cut out flowers were painted by the adults with special needs and then layered and adhered to the banner which hung outside their rooms.
