Sharing passions
I have many passions for using my artwork, from fundraising for the Humane Society to colloaborating with Special Need Adults to sharing the amazing love of my Savior. In this section you will see many of those elements which bring JOY to my soul and I hope it touches your heart as well.
When Art and Healing Mix, 5' panels created in collaboration with the nurses of the Neonatal ICU & Transition Nursery, Tampa General Hospital
These panels represent the Dreaming, the other world of the Aboriginals in Australia. In collaboration with Polly Allen at the Children's Board of Hillsborough County.
The students who worked on this project were from a home schooled group. We learned about the different symbols of the Aboriginals and then used those symbols in decorating the panels to create the face.
Adonai, Hebrew for Lord. It is inscribed with a Thanksgiving Blessing through the panels and were created with the Special Needs Adults of St. James UMC.
The Names of our Savior, this was a workshop created for the adults with Special Needs at St. James UMC.
Eyes of Africa was created from images of the AIDS orphanage in Africa we supported.
Glory was created to celebrate the birth of our Messiah.
Resurrection - I wanted the ugliness in the background to be overcome by the white cleansing of the word Resurrection.
